Chapter 6 help

for 6.9 we just did today, how do we do the equations with i's in the radicals. such as (9+i radical 2) + (12 - 3i radical 2) (number 8 on 6.9 hw) by hand?
i would like to do just a few more problems that involve working with the "i" because i am still having a little trouble with the multiplying of it and when it is used with a square root. if we could do some more problems id really appreciate it

Capter 6 Question

I am still having trouble comprehending what to do when imaginary numbers (i) are being divided. I think we went over this briefly in class today. I know we have to do something with a conjugate.

ch 6 question

what do you do when you are dividing two negative square roots?
Im confused about problems that have fractions with (i's) on the top or bottom.

Ch 6 Blog Question

I would like to know how you multiply two square roots together with imaginery number in the square roots. Can we go over a few in class?

Chapter 5 Question

i dont really understand the inverses of matricies, because sometimes i get whole numbers and other times, for example, i get 1 over 20.
i still am just a little confused with the set up for finding the determinant by hand instead of just typing det(equation) on my calculator. can you please explain it one more time?

Chapter 5 question

In linear programming, how do I set up the matrices to find the intersecting points?

I'm not always sure how you know which way you need to shade on a graph and which part is the feasible region.
